Signature Board Replacement Covers (2 pack)
Burlap is the working surface of a bagel board, and it's the part that's supposed to wear out. These are the same covers we sew for The Signature Bagel Board, cut, hemmed, and fitted with stainless snaps in our Colorado Springs workshop, sold as a pair so a worn set never takes your boards out of rotation.
Snap the old covers off, snap these on, and the cedar underneath keeps going. The boards are built to outlast many covers; that's the point of the snaps.
When to replace: the covers will tell you. Threads starting to unravel, burn marks, or stains that won't rinse out. There's no set schedule.
Sized for the Signature's 16" × 3.5" boards, six snaps per cover, in the same food-grade, vegetable-oil-woven burlap the Signature ships with (petroleum free). Classic boards use stapled covers and have no snap studs; these fit The Signature Bagel Board only.
What's included: two replacement covers with stainless snaps already attached. They fasten onto the studs that come pre-installed on every Signature board; nothing else is needed. Soak before baking, same as always.

Questions
Will these fit Classic boards?
No. Classic covers are stapled on and Classic boards have no snap hardware. These fit The Signature Bagel Board only.
Are the snaps oven-safe?
They're stainless steel, the same hardware the Signature ships with, and they ride through the same 450°F bakes the boards do.
How often will I need new covers?
There's no schedule; it depends on how often you bake. Watch for unraveling threads, burn marks, or stains that stop rinsing out. When you see them, it's time.
Can I wash the covers?
Rinse them after baking; a little mild dish soap is fine. The washing machine works too, but it wears burlap faster than a rinse does.
