Shipping Policy

The Bagel Board Company LLC ships handcrafted cedar bagel boards, bagel making kits, and bagel stands from our Colorado Springs workshop to addresses within the United States.

Where we ship


We currently ship to the 50 United States and to APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not ship internationally at this time. If you're outside the US and would like to order, contact us at thebagelboardco@gmail.com — we'll do our best to find a path that works.

Processing time


Every order is handcrafted. Our standard processing time is 3 to 5 business days from order placement to shipment. Current processing time is shown on each product page and on the cart page; we update it ahead of any extended periods (workshop closures, travel, holidays) so you always know what to expect before you order.

If your order is time-sensitive (a gift, an event), email us at thebagelboardco@gmail.com before placing the order and we'll let you know whether we can meet your date.

Shipping speed and rates


Once your order ships, transit time depends on your location:

- Standard shipping (USPS or UPS Ground): 3 to 7 business days within the continental United States.
- We charge a flat shipping rate based on package weight and destination, calculated at checkout.
- Free shipping promotions are not available at this time.
- We do not currently offer expedited or overnight shipping. Contact us if you need a faster option and we'll quote it directly.

Tracking


You'll receive a shipping confirmation email with a tracking number once your order leaves the workshop. Tracking updates may take 24 to 48 hours to appear in the carrier's system after the label is created.

Damaged or lost packages


If your package arrives damaged, please email us at thebagelboardco@gmail.com within 7 days of delivery with a photo of the damage. We'll arrange a replacement or refund at no cost to you.

If your package is marked delivered but you haven't received it, first check with your carrier and neighbors (carriers occasionally mark packages delivered before final placement). If it doesn't turn up within 3 business days, contact us and we'll work with you to resolve it.

Address accuracy


Please double-check your shipping address before placing the order. If you notice an error within 1 hour of order placement, email us immediately and we'll update it before the package ships. Once a package has shipped to the address you provided, we cannot redirect it; if it's returned to us as undeliverable, you'll be responsible for the cost of re-shipment.

Workshop closures and travel


Because we're a one-person workshop, occasional closures happen for travel and holidays. We post extended processing times on the homepage banner and product pages ahead of any closure. Orders placed during a closure are processed in the order received once the workshop reopens.
